Dead Space 2 DLC!!!!!!

Finally, the exams are over! Time to kick off the studies and pick up some new games to while away the holidays. At least, that is what I do when I spend my holidays.

First off, Dragon Age 2 will come out on the 8^th of March so if you did not pre order, DO IT now! It is by far, one of the best RPGs I have played.

Watching some game news recently, I was pleased and utterly over excited to hear that Dead Space 2 has a DLC (Downloadable Live Content) coming soon and it is single player only and that means more story telling. The story kicks off when Dead Space: Extraction ended and you get the player one of the characters on the sprawl.

By the looks of the trailer, the enemies seem scarier (so does the environment with the flickering lights). If you do not know by now, I am a HUGE fan of Dead space. The story is remotely awesome. It makes me confused at some times but that’s what makes me want to know more.

Marvel vs Capcom 3

Hello. The school term is finally over. No more working late nights doing final assignments and projects. It is time to take a break!

Since my break started this week, I wanted to get the hand cannon in Dead Space 2 (see previous post on Dead Space 2) but I must complete the game on hardcore mode. Sounds tough? It gets TOUGHER.

Why is it HARD?

The game can only be saved 3 times . . . 3 TIMES!!!!
The enemy does increased damage to you!
And when you die, you start from your previous save point, meaning if you don’t save, you start all over again.

How frustrating is that! I tried yesterday, died twice before my first save so I tried again today. I managed to save before I died so that’s a relief but died again so I shall start from my previous save.

Anyway, I am not sure whether to get Marvel vs Capcom 3? It looks fun (nice graphics and fight moves) so I am in a dilemma! I saw these two videos and it makes me want to get the game. Comment and advice please!

Bullet Storm and Grand Theft Auto 4

Hello. Not a lot of new games coming out this month so I dived deeper into the world of internet and found this ingenious video about a game that is very unique in its way.

It is a first person shooter game and the way it motivates players to play is very unique. As the catch phrase of the game goes, “Kill with Skill” is very true as the countless ways to kill or finish off your enemies’ grants you points on the leader boards. The more stylish you finish off your foes, the more points you get. This kind of game play has not been done before so it is very unique.

I just recently (like 2 hours ago) downloaded the demo and it really made me wish that the game would arrive sooner here in Singapore so that I could get my hands on it. As the finishing sentence goes at the end of the video demo where the release date was shown (which is 25/2/2011), the main character’s voice said “This game isn’t going to preorder itself you know.”I laughed at that so hard!

Duke Nukem Forever and Dead Space 2

Chinese New Year is nearly over, with the hong baos given out and raw fish eaten. Since during that time, I have finally touched, played, got scarred to my wits and finally completed Dead Space 2. It truly is very scary.

Imagine a recess bell ringing, an alarm clock ringing and a kindergarten. They are just regular things in life and they are not so scary. But imagine these things in Dead Space 2. Who would have thought that a game can make these inanimate objects so scary? Yeah, neither did I (I literally jumped when I heard an alarm clock ringing suddenly in a dark area).

Has anybody heard of Duke Nukem Forever? The very old game that raised questions and law suits when it was released? Well, after 12 years, they remade the game and it looks to not part ways with its predecessors. It still retains its manly, violent and nudity part of the game.
